N59: Types of Homeopathy - A Conversation

Although there seem to be many different kinds of homeopathy, a homeopath should always follow the basic laws of homeopathy as explained in the Organon of the Medical Art, the book written by the founder of Homeopathy, Samuel Hahnemann.  The laws of homeopathy come from the laws of nature and need to be adhered to.  The laws of cure as well as the medicines that make up a homeopathic prescription are also defined.  What is not, is the methodology of how to take a patient’s case, reach the Similimum, and how to understand the case and prescribe the remedy accordingly. Some homeopaths are purist by nature and keep to only a set amount of remedies, others use any substance on Earth as a possible remedy choice.  What is not homeopathic, is something that defies the laws of homeopathy and is allopathic in both its thinking as well as prescribing. A homeopathic remedy should not have an impact on the individual like a molecular poison would.  The Earth heals homeopathic, and if we keep its meaning – safe suffering- then as long as we are using a similar substance to heal a similar set of symptoms that substance can create, and we do not inject it, we are healing and helping the body heal itself.  Earth heals through ingesting substances through the orifices of the body, not by injecting. When we do experience injections through stings, bites and punctures, the body is impacted and as a result can cause disease pictures.  Injecting a substance will eventually cause a disease picture and even a syndrome.
