Homeopathy helps with breastfeeding problems such as mastitis, cracked nipples, pain, thrush, and blocked ducts.  In general, remedies good for the nursing mother will include those states the mother may be in when delivering or nursing – mother didn’t nurse her would be a lac m, lac h, lac c and so forth.  Problems with specific rare and peculiars will need the remedy indicated: aconite for fear of death, ignatia for grieving while nursing and so forth.  These are general indications and a professional would be needed to take the mother’s case and the kid depending on who is having the problem.  The remedy is given to the mother and as a code will go through the milk to the baby.
